A green gecko climbs across a field of Portuguese azulejo tiles, rendered in burnt terracotta and warm cream. The four-petal tile repeat sets a strict grid that the lizard's diagonal sweep cuts straight through, giving the piece real movement against an otherwise still pattern.
Part of the Palmera collection of Mediterranean-inspired art prints. Flat bold colour with a grainy risograph texture, drawn from the tilework of Lisbon and the Algarve.
